On the afternoon of November 12, the 5^th Riverside Nomocracy Forum, guided by the Xuhui District Bureau of Justice and jointly presented by the Xuhui Lawyers Work Committee, the Westbund Group and the media CNLive, had its grand opening ceremony on the 5^th Floor of the Westbund Intelligence Tower.

The Forum, centering on the theme “Caring for Ingenuity and Energizing Creation”, shone a spotlight on legal services within the artworks industry. Presentations and discussions were made in respect of “application of the new blue ocean blockchain technology in deals of artworks”, “IP rights protection for artworks”, “taxation compliance issues in auctions of artworks”, attracting great attention from all sectors of the community.

At the Forum, Ms. Cathy Wu presented a keynote speech entitled “Protection and Development of IP Rights in Artworks”. Shining a spotlight on the focus issue of legal services within the artworks industry – IP rights, Ms. Wu shared her thoughts and opinions with the audience.
