W&B Hosts China Law Salon “Dispute Resolution Skills and Introduction to Cutting-Edge Issues in Case Briefing”
On the afternoon of August 27, W&B hosted its August China Law Salon entitled Dispute Resolution Skills and Introduction to Cutting-Edge Issues in Case Briefing” in its multifunctional hall on the 26th floor.

Partner Xiaobo He and associate Haoran Xing from W&B’s civil and commercial litigation department each delivered lectures that used case briefing to explain how to deal with overseas-related civil and commercial contract disputes.
Mr. Heg commenced his lecture by citing a jurisdictional challenge in an online gaming agency and licensing contract dispute between Shandong Jufeng Network Co., Ltd. and the Korean MGAME Corporation, Tianjin Fengyun Network Technology Co., Ltd. Mr. He elucidated legal issues related to dispute resolution clauses in civil and commercial contracts that involve overseas elements, and elaborated on the application of the law to resolve disputes in China. To this end, he presented an in-depth analysis of dispute resolution methods for this type of contract.

Mr. Xing illustrated the significance and application of a petition for preservation during litigation by citing a lawsuit concerning correspondence manuscripts between Zhongshu Qian and Jiang Yang, as well as a lawsuit filed by Foxconn against a journalist from the China Business Network.

The Salon was so well-received that it concluded with real-time interaction between the lecturers and the audience.
